Active care near Alpine’s foothills

Chiropractor Near Alpine, Utah for Trail and Family Life

From technical singletrack to daily family responsibilities, Alpine residents can find individualized chiropractic and injury care a short drive away in north Lehi.

Local perspective

Care That Understands Alpine’s Terrain

Alpine sits against the Wasatch foothills, where recreation is rarely flat or predictable. Lambert Park is a hub for mountain biking, hiking and trail running; Dry Creek Canyon adds longer climbs and changing surfaces; Burgess Park and Smooth Canyon Park support team practice and family activity. Those environments can expose limits in ankle control, hip strength, spinal mobility and recovery that may not appear during ordinary daily movement.

Dr. Peterson combines an athlete’s perspective with formal training in exercise science and chiropractic. He has cared for competitors ranging from young students to collegiate and professional athletes, but the process remains personal: listen to what happened, examine the relevant areas and connect recommendations to the terrain or task the patient wants to resume. Alpine patients are not placed on a predetermined long-term schedule simply because they walked through the door.

School, team, park and employer names identify the community we serve. They do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or an official provider relationship.

Individualized services

Support for Uneven Ground, Training and Recovery

A trail fall, overuse complaint and recurring work-related ache require different thinking. The examination is used to decide what belongs in the care plan and what does not.

Mountain Biking and Trail Running Care

Technical descents and sustained climbs challenge the hands, shoulders, back, hips, knees and ankles in different ways. The visit considers the mechanism, current function and demands of the specific route or discipline before return-to-activity guidance is discussed.

Evaluation Beyond the Spine

A sore wrist after a fall, a knee that reacts on descents or an ankle that feels unreliable deserves regional examination. Dr. Peterson has a particular interest in extremity complaints that can be missed in a spine-only approach.

Noninvasive SoftWave® Therapy

For certain persistent soft-tissue presentations, SoftWave shockwave technology may complement hands-on care and progressive activity. Suitability, expected response and alternatives are reviewed rather than assumed.

Family and Auto-Injury Appointments

The same office also sees Alpine parents, students and working adults for everyday musculoskeletal complaints or symptoms following a vehicle collision. Care is modified for age, comfort, health history and individual priorities.

Common questions

Helpful Details for Alpine Patients

How long does it take to reach the office from Alpine?

A typical trip from central Alpine is about 10–12 minutes via Highland and SR-92, but weather, construction and peak traffic can extend it.

Do you treat runners and mountain bikers from Alpine?

Yes. Dr. Peterson evaluates activity-related concerns in runners, riders and other outdoor athletes. Care depends on the examination and does not guarantee a particular recovery time or performance result.

Is a referral necessary before an Alpine resident books?

You can usually schedule directly with the clinic. Some benefit plans have their own rules, so it is reasonable to verify coverage if insurance will be used.

Build the Next Step Around Your Activity

Tell Dr. Peterson whether the goal is returning to Lambert Park, completing a training block or moving through ordinary life more comfortably. The plan starts with that goal and changes as progress is reassessed.
