Local perspective
Built for the Demands Above and Below Point of the Mountain
Draper’s activity is shaped by elevation and commuting. The Corner Canyon network—including Rush, Levitate and Ghost Falls—draws gravity riders and trail runners, while Draper Cycle Park and Suncrest add opportunities for skills, climbing and technical terrain. Corner Canyon Chargers programs and Summit Academy athletics keep students training, and many adults alternate between those outdoor demands and long workdays at a computer or in cross-valley traffic.
Dr. Peterson’s experience in competitive soccer, wrestling and MMA gives him a practical appreciation for performance and return-to-activity questions. His education at BYU and the University of Western States supplies the clinical foundation, while years of treating youth, collegiate and professional competitors have reinforced the need to adjust care to the individual. Draper patients receive explanations and choices rather than a scripted long-term sales presentation.
